CtrlS Datacenters to invest ₹500 crore in new facility in Bhopal

CtrlS Datacenters Ltd announced the launch of a new greenfield datacenter in Bhopal with an investment of ₹500 crore. The facility will be located on a five-acre site at Badwai IT Park, provided by the Madhya Pradesh government. The project was announced during the Tech Growth Conclave 2025 held in Indore.
The upcoming datacenter will handle high-performance cloud computing, artificial intelligence workloads, and data processing for enterprises across central India. It is also expected to create about 200 jobs over different phases of its construction and operation.
The company plans to equip the facility with advanced cooling, security, and power management systems to maintain continuous operations and high service reliability. The datacenter will be built to manage growing digital demands from sectors such as banking, manufacturing, healthcare, and technology.

Once fully operational, the datacenter is expected to contribute approximately ₹15 crore annually in taxes, split equally between State and Central Goods and Services Tax (SGST and CGST). The infrastructure is being designed to support both current enterprise needs and future technologies, providing businesses in the region with access to scalable and resilient IT infrastructure.
CtrlS Datacenters currently operates facilities in major cities including Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Noida, and Kolkata. It also runs edge datacenters in cities like Patna and Lucknow. Further expansion is planned in GIFT City, Bhubaneswar, and Guwahati, strengthening the company’s nationwide network.
Sridhar Pinnapureddy, Chairman & MD of CtrlS Datacenters, said, “Our upcoming datacenter is designed not only for today's needs but also as a foundation for future technologies that will drive enterprise innovation and elevate the State’s digital capabilities.”
