Spotlight: CXO movements this week (April 19-April 25)

The week (April 19 - April 25) was buzzing with several CXO movements in the tech industry, with some of the major appointments in key business positions. Companies such as Boeing, Axiscades, Tata Tele Business Services, IIFL Home Loans, Adani Infra (India) and Adani Power appointed tech executives to lead some of their IT and digital affairs. Boeing appoints new MD for its India tech centre

Aircraft manufacturing company Boeing India has appointed Stacie Sire as VP and Managing Director of the Boeing India Engineering & Technology Center (BIETC) and Chief Engineer, Boeing India, based in Bengaluru. Sire will oversee BIETC's strategy and operations, succeeding Ahmed Elsherbini, who now heads Boeing Global Engineering. Sire, a Boeing veteran, previously held various leadership roles, including Senior Director of Engineering for Fabrication. 

Axiscades appoints Anurag Sharma as CEO of its Germany-based subsidiary

Bengaluru-headquartered Axiscades has named Anurag Sharma CEO of add-solution GmbH, its Germany-based subsidiary specialising in wiring harness design and testing for aerospace, automotive, and industrial sectors. Sharma's experience in electrical distribution systems and cross-border industrialisation will facilitate integration with European OEMs. An IIT Roorkee alumnus, Sharma brings three decades of experience in product development, sales, and P&L management, with past roles at L&T, Siemens Technology, Segula Technologies, and others.

Anvize Rodrigues joins Tata Tele Business Services as CIO

Anvize Rodrigues has joined Tata Tele Business Services (TTBS) as CIO and Senior Vice President. With over 25 years of experience in technology leadership and digital transformation, Rodrigues will drive TTBS's technology vision and customer-centric growth. She previously held leadership roles at Revvity, Nowrosjee Wadia & Sons, and others, with expertise in enterprise architecture and digital programs.

IIFL Home Loans appoints Gunjan Mody as its new CISO

IIFL Home Loans has appointed Gunjan Mody as its new Chief Information Security Officer. Mody, with nearly two decades of experience in cyber-risk management and data privacy, will lead IIFL Home Loans' security strategy. Previously, Mody was CISO at PNB Housing Finance and held positions at Deloitte, Barclays, and others.

Kapture CX appoints former Freshworks exec as Senior Director

Customer experience platform Kapture CX Kapture CX has appointed former Freshworks executive Gaurav Prakash as Senior Director of Enterprise Sales. Prakash, a SaaS veteran with over 14 years of experience, will leverage his expertise in education technology, procurement technology, and customer experience to support Kapture CX's growth. Kapture CX, an Indian-developed integrated customer experience platform, anticipates that Prakash’s industry knowledge and leadership will be vital in a competitive market. He previously scaled Freshworks' enterprise business across North, East, and West India and held positions at PwC. Prakash holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IMT Ghaziabad and a Bachelor of Technology degree from Jaypee University of Information Technology.

Rakesh Dhanda joins Adani Infra as Chief Digital Officer

Rakesh Dhanda has joined Adani Infra (India) as Chief Digital Officer (CDO). Dhanda, with over two decades of experience in digital transformation, will lead Adani Infra's digital and technology agenda. He previously spearheaded IT and digital initiatives at Rossari Biotech and L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering. Prior to this, Dhanda held leadership roles at Asahi India Glass, Cairn Oil & Gas, and others.

Aditya Birla Renewables gets a new CIO

Aditya Birla Renewables has appointed Prem Kiran Udayavarma as Chief Information Officer – Head of Information Technology. Udayavarma, with over two decades of experience in digital transformation and IT strategy, will lead the company's technology roadmap. He previously held key leadership roles at FANUC India and GE Appliances.

Rohit Sharma to head Cyber Security at Adani Power

Rohit Sharma has been promoted to Head of Cyber Security & Chief Risk Officer at Adani Power. With over two decades of experience, Sharma will oversee the company's cybersecurity strategy and risk governance. He joined Adani Power in 2021 and previously held key roles at NTPC Limited.
