TCS crosses $30bn in annual revenue

However, it witnessed a jump in its Q4 revenue on a year-on-year (YoY) basis to ₹64,479 crore as against ₹61,237 crore posted in the same period last fiscal. Meta launches Llama 4

Last Saturday, Meta launched LLaMA 4, short for Large Language Model Meta AI 4, its latest generation of open-source AI models. Building on the LlaMA 2 and 3, this version offers significant improvements in reasoning, multilingual capabilities, and efficiency. It's designed to rival closed-source models like OpenAI’s GPT-4 and Google’s Gemini, while remaining accessible to researchers and developers. LlaMA 4 supports a wide range of applications—from chatbots to code generation—and is part of Meta's broader strategy to democratize advanced AI tools.

This launch closely follows OpenAI’s introduction of the GPT-4.5 model in February, close to two years after the launch of its predecessor GPT-4. OpenAI says that it is its largest and best model for chat yet, and presents a step forward in scaling up pre-training and post-training. It is reportedly more ‘human’ in its responses and is also expected to hallucinate less.
