Tech Mahindra, an IT services provider, and American software firm ServiceNow have partnered to provide advanced broadband solutions for Communication Service Providers (CSPs). The collaboration aims to streamline network management, improve operations, and enhance customer service. 

The partnership is built on Tech Mahindra’s netOps.now platform, which integrates with ServiceNow’s Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) product suites. This solution helps CSPs manage customer service, operations, order processing, and partner ecosystems. It also includes AI-driven analytics, Network-as-a-Service (NaaS), and cloud-based Open Source Software (OSS) systems to enhance automation and efficiency. 

The solution is designed to help CSPs improve operational efficiency by up to 50%, speed up service deployment, and expand broadband coverage. It addresses challenges such as outdated systems, complex network management, and the demand for improved connectivity.

Atul Soneja, Chief Operating Officer, Tech Mahindra, said, “The telco industry faces increasing pressure to modernise legacy systems, streamline network management, and enhance operational agility. Our partnership with ServiceNow will address these challenges and empower broadband providers to deliver high-speed connectivity, drive digital inclusion, and create value for communities globally.” 

The company also implemented this solution for FibreCo in Germany, resulting in significant operational improvements. By leveraging ServiceNow’s TMT suite, Tech Mahindra optimised service processes, automated order fulfillment, and enhanced fiber rollout tracking. This led to a 20% reduction in fiber rollout time and fewer order fallouts. Additionally, 22 legacy systems were consolidated into a single platform, improving execution and service delivery, it said.
