
Accenture to develop AI-driven digital platform for Malabar Gold & Diamonds


Accenture, a global professional services company, has partnered with Malabar Gold & Diamonds to create an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered, cloud-enabled digital platform aimed at improving the jewellery retailer’s global operations. The initiative is designed to enhance customer and employee experiences while increasing business efficiency.
Accenture will develop a scalable and secure technology system to optimise various business functions, including finance, manufacturing, supply chain management, and retail operations. The platform will support data-driven decision-making, enabling Malabar Gold & Diamonds to better predict market trends and respond to demand changes more effectively.
The new system will use real-time data on the availability and pricing of precious metals and stones to refine sales, marketing, and fulfillment strategies. This will help streamline both online and in-store shopping experiences, covering processes from browsing to checkout, the company said.

The platform will also be developed to comply with trade regulations in 13 markets. Malabar Gold & Diamonds plans to implement training programs to help employees adapt to the new digital system and encourage a data-driven approach within the company.
