
Roinet partners with IIT Delhi to develop AI solutions for financial services


Roinet, financial services provider, has entered a three-year collaboration with the Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer at IIT Delhi to develop artificial intelligence (AI)-powered solutions aimed at improving financial access for underserved communities and small businesses.
The partnership will focus on integrating artificial intelligence and machine learning into financial services. Key areas include an AI-driven underwriting system for lending, an intelligent travel and ticketing platform, an automated grievance redressal chatbot, and an advanced audio/video communication platform. These technologies aim to simplify access to financial services and enhance customer experience.
Roinet will contribute to product development, infrastructure, financial support, and market strategies. IIT Delhi will provide expertise in AI and machine learning (ML), ensuring the technological foundation for these solutions. The research will involve students and faculty members working on practical applications of deep-tech innovations.

This collaboration is expected to advance AI applications in financial inclusion, strengthening ties between industry and academia. By combining research with practical implementation, the initiative aims to create scalable and effective solutions that improve access to financial services for a wider population, the company said.
