HCLTech launches agentic AI-based manufacturing solution on Google Cloud

HCLTech has introduced a new AI-driven manufacturing solution on Google Cloud, aimed at enhancing efficiency and quality control for industries such as automotive, aerospace, and electronics. The technology company has developed HCLTech Insight, an AI agent designed to provide manufacturers with advanced data insights and analytics.
HCLTech's extensive industry experience with full-stack AI offerings combined with Google Cloud's technologies will help businesses transition rapidly from concept to production-grade solutions," said Vijay Guntur, Chief Technology Officer and Head of Ecosystems, HCLTech.
The solution leverages Google Cloud’s Cortex Framework, Manufacturing Data Engine, Vertex AI, and Agentic Framework to detect product defects and other irregularities in real-time. It also features interactive dashboards and AI-powered virtual assistance, enabling businesses to improve production quality while managing costs more effectively.

By combining Google Cloud's manufacturing solutions with our leading generative AI and agentic capabilities, HCLTech Insight can provide our mutual clients with the tools they need to harness these insights and drive their manufacturing processes to new heights of productivity and efficiency," said Praveen Rao, Global Head of Manufacturing, Google Cloud.
HCLTech and Google have a long-standing partnership. In December 2024, HCLTech collaborated with Google Cloud Security to provide enterprise solutions for cyber threats. HCLTech, using Google Cloud’s technology, will offer artificial intelligence (AI)-based managed detection and response solutions.
Built using HCLTech’s Fusion Platform and Google Cloud Security technology, the Unified Managed Detection and Response (UMDR) delivers a modular operating model for clients looking for flexibility and end-to-end capabilities that deliver advanced detection and protection to complex environments, including operational technology (OT), industrial control systems (ICS), hybrid cloud, IAM, end points, network and applications.
