IT services firm Tech Mahindra announced a pharmacovigilance (PV) autonomous solution built with NVIDIA AI software to advance drug safety management. The solution utilises Agentic AI and automation to enhance the accuracy, speed, and efficiency of pharmacovigilance processes, addressing critical industry challenges such as manual delays and data overload.

It is powered by Tech Mahindra’s TENO framework that it built on NVIDIA AI technology. It leverages the NVIDIA AI Enterprise software platform, including NVIDIA NeMo, NVIDIA NIM microservices, and NVIDIA AI Blueprints. Additionally, the LLM-powered AI agents within the solution autonomously handle case classification, prioritization, and verification of pharmacovigilance emails to reduce the risk of human error.

“As the pharmaceutical industry navigates volumes of data during trials and post-launch, our collaboration with NVIDIA leverages generative AI and multi-agent systems to streamline the pharmacovigilance process. Together, we are revolutionizing drug safety management and using the innovative AI-driven framework to develop multiple use cases for our global customers,” said Nikhil Malhotra, Chief Innovation Officer & Global Head of AI and Emerging Technologies Tech Mahindra.

Tech Mahindra has broadened its TENO framework by incorporating NVIDIA AI Enterprise, enhancing it with tailored AI agents designed to tackle a wide range of industry-specific challenges. Leveraging NVIDIA NeMo, the framework accelerates the generative AI pipeline for efficient data collection and curation while integrating Tech Mahindra’s VerifAI solution to ensure data validation and governance. With built-in distributed training and model customization features, the framework enables AI models to continuously adapt, refining decision-making accuracy over time.
