DE-CIX India, Ishan Technologies to expand interconnection for enterprise digital growth

DE-CIX India, an interconnection platform, has partnered with Ishan Technologies, an ICT services provider, to establish a Network-to-Network Interface (NNI) at Ishan’s Mumbai Data Centre. This facility is Tier 3 rated and compliant with SOC 2, PCI, and HIPAA standards. 

Ishan’s Mumbai Data Centre is recognised by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) for secure cloud services. The partnership will improve interconnection services, benefiting Internet Service Providers (ISPs), Content Delivery Networks (CDNs), Over-the-Top (OTT) platforms, and other digital service providers. 

The collaboration will expand DE-CIX India’s network reach, facilitating faster and more efficient internet traffic exchange. The NNI at Ishan Technologies' facility will provide direct access to DE-CIX India’s services, enhancing connectivity for businesses and service providers. 

Ishan Technologies offers network connectivity, system integration, and migration services, ensuring low-latency performance across India. Its network enables businesses to leverage DE-CIX India’s global interconnection solutions, strengthening the country’s digital infrastructure. 

DE-CIX India has been expanding through strategic partnerships, including collaborations with GCX and e&. These initiatives have extended its global connectivity, integrating submarine cable infrastructure for improved links to the Middle East, Europe, the USA, and Asia. The partnership with e& has also established a direct internet corridor between the UAE and India. 

The partnership with Ishan Technologies aims to support future digital needs. It offers scalable solutions for emerging technologies such as 5G, AI, and edge computing. The collaboration also focuses on sustainability, promoting energy-efficient infrastructure.
