Tata Technologies, a subsidiary of the Tata Group focused on product engineering and digital services, has appointed Anish Raghunandan as President and Client Partner – Tata Motors Group. In addition to overseeing business operations, he will focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI)-driven engineering initiatives within the group.

Raghunandan brings over 22 years of experience in engineering, technology, and digital transformation. He has held leadership positions at Tata Industries, Tata Sons, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), and Tata Class Edge. In his previous role as CEO of Tata Class Edge, he led a business transformation that improved profitability, reduced operational costs, and expanded operations. He has also managed key client relationships and previously led Tata Technologies' East & South Asia business.

In his new role, Raghunandan will work to enhance collaboration with Tata Motors and JLR, aligning Tata Technologies' expertise in vehicle engineering, software development, and manufacturing with Tata Motors Group’s strategic goals. His responsibilities include supporting Tata Motors' electrification efforts, smart manufacturing, and AI-led engineering projects aimed at accelerating vehicle development and improving customer experience.

Tata Technologies CEO and Managing Director Warren Harris said that his leadership would help deepen the company’s collaboration with Tata Motors Group. Harris noted that as the automotive industry undergoes rapid transformation, Raghunandan’s role would be crucial in aligning Tata Technologies' capabilities with Tata Motors' evolving needs.

Expressing his views on the appointment, Raghunandan said he was eager to contribute to Tata Technologies at a time when Tata Motors and JLR are advancing mobility innovations. He emphasised his focus on strengthening partnerships and developing AI-driven solutions for the future of mobility.

Raghunandan holds a B.Tech degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Calicut.
