Brahma acquires Metaphysic
Brahma, a division of Mumbai-based VFX firm Prime Focus, announced on Wednesday its acquisition of London-based artificial intelligence (AI) content firm Metaphysic (formerly Metaphysic AI). Brahma is a unit of DNEG, a visual effects and animation company based in London that Prime Focus acquired in 2014. The company said that the acquisition raises Brahma’s post-transaction valuation to $1.43 billion.
This acquisition incorporates Metaphysic’s generative AI capabilities, which produce hyper-realistic digital content, into Brahma’s technology portfolio.
Infosys, Lufthansa to set up GCC in Bengaluru

Infosys, India's second-largest IT services firm, on Tuesday, announced a partnership with Lufthansa Group and Lufthansa Systems to drive digital transformation in aviation. This collaboration includes setting up a Global Capability Center (GCC) in Bengaluru aimed at enhancing software development and product support.
The GCC will use Infosys Topaz, an AI-first platform, to create advanced aviation IT products and data-driven solutions that focus on areas such as finance, flight navigation, network design, and aircraft operations. The goal is to improve aviation safety, efficiency, and competitiveness in an environment of fluctuating demand.
Noida International Airport collaborates with Kyndryl
Noida International Airport (NIA) on Monday announced a collaboration with the US-based IT infrastructure services provider Kyndryl to manage the airport’s modern technology environment and 24X7 support model.

With over 30 years of experience in managing and transforming airports globally, Kyndryl will provide NIA with advanced frameworks and services to ensure smooth, tech-driven operations for better customer experiences.
LTIMindtree grabs multiyear digital transformation deal from Eurobank
Greece-based bank Eurobank has announced a partnership with IT services firm LTIMindtree to enhance customer experience. Under this multiyear cooperation, the two organisations will improve banking operations and build innovation IT services for Eurobank and its subsidiaries.
The collaboration has been enabled by Fairfax Digital Services and it will include the establishment of a Global Delivery Center in India. Alongside the recently established LTIMindtree Greece office, this center will drive technology modernisation, and digital innovation as well as enhance and maintain critical banking applications. This initiative will empower Eurobank Group to meet growing customers' demands as it expands its services.
TCS partners with Salesforce

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has joined hands with US-based customer relationship management (CRM) giant Salesforce to help manufacturers and semiconductor suppliers enhance their use of artificial intelligence (AI). The collaboration introduces three new AI-powered solutions aimed at improving sales processes and field service operations. As part of the partnership, TCS has launched the Semiconductor Sales Accelerator, which aims to speed up sales cycles by providing data-driven insights.
Hexaware announces market listing with ₹8,750 Cr IPO
Hexaware Technologies, a prominent IT services provider, made a notable return to the public markets on February 19, 2025, with an initial public offering (IPO) valued at ₹8,750 crore.The IPO, which was open for subscription from February 12 to February 14, was entirely an offer for sale by the promoter, CA Magnum Holdings, an affiliate of the Carlyle Group.
“Listing on the public markets represents a significant step forward for Hexaware,” said R Srikrishna, CEO, Hexaware. “This is an opportunity to deepen our relationships with stakeholders and reinforce our commitment to operating with transparency, accountability, and a focus on delivering meaningful solutions to our clients. We are excited about the road ahead.”
Microsoft launches Majorana 1

Microsoft has unveiled the Majorana 1, a quantum computing chip that leverages a novel state of matter known as a topological superconductor. This innovation aims to enhance the stability and scalability of qubits, the fundamental units of quantum information.
This development could pave the way for quantum computers capable of solving complex problems in fields such as cryptography, material science, and drug discovery. Its design focuses on reducing error rates, potentially leading to more efficient quantum computations. Microsoft said that the chip is likely to accelerate the timeline for practical, large-scale quantum computers, projecting commercial viability within a few years.
