Midcap IT software firm Netweb Technologies on Wednesday unveiled Skylus.ai, a composable GPU aggregation-disaggregation appliance designed to streamline artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure and optimise GPU resource management. The solution addresses the increasing complexities of AI and GenAI workloads, enabling organisations to integrate multi-vendor GPU and CPU resources efficiently while reducing costs and enhancing performance.

Skylus.ai simplifies AI infrastructure by offering a vendor-agnostic platform that fosters faster ideation, collaboration, and experimentation. It allows seamless integration of CPUs, full GPUs, and slices of multi-instance GPUs, ensuring efficient resource allocation tailored to specific workload requirements. A key feature of the platform is Tyrone Kubyts, a workbench providing pre-tested, pre-built, and optimised container images through an image marketplace. This eliminates the need to build applications from scratch, saving time and reducing complexity.

With Skylus.ai, enterprises can transition from static resource allocation to a dynamic model, allowing optimal provisioning of resources according to specific needs. The technology facilitates GPU slicing, enabling multiple teams to share GPU resources efficiently, minimising wastage and lowering infrastructure costs. For example, a server with eight GPUs can dynamically allocate portions of its resources to different teams, ensuring maximum utilisation.

The platform also integrates with Tyrone HyperScale NAS—ParallelStor, a hyperscale storage solution that supports file and object access while maintaining low latency and high throughput. This integration enhances data management by eliminating the need for multiple data copies and enabling seamless operations across both on-premises and cloud environments.

Commenting on the launch, Netweb Technologies India Limited’s Chairman and Managing Director, Sanjay Lodha, underscored the challenges businesses face in AI resource allocation, provisioning, and management. He emphasised that Skylus.ai is a Make-in-India innovation designed to tackle GPU inefficiencies, optimise AI workloads, and accelerate AI adoption. Lodha described Skylus.ai as more than just a tool, calling it a catalyst for AI-driven transformation that sets new benchmarks in efficiency, innovation, and performance.

Netweb Technologies posted a 16.56% growth in profit to ₹30.32 crore in the third quarter ended December 31, 2024, driven by demand for artificial intelligence-related projects. The revenue from operations of Netweb increased by about 32% to ₹334 crore during the reported quarter from ₹253.4 crore in the December quarter of the last fiscal.
