Cohizon Life Sciences ropes in former Hindalco exec as Chief Information Officer

Cohizon Life Sciences, a specialty chemicals company previously known as Sajjan India Ltd, has appointed Navin Nathani as its new Chief Information Officer (CIO). Nathani made the announcement regarding his new role through a post on LinkedIn, stating, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Chief Information Officer at Cohizon Life Sciences (formerly Sajjan India Ltd.)” This message was shared on the professional networking platform on Thursday.

Nathani brings with him over 20 years of experience in various sectors, including manufacturing, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), and insurance. Prior to this new role at Cohizon, Nathani held the position of General Manager and Head of IT at Hindalco, where he successfully spearheaded numerous technological initiatives. His career also includes leading technology projects at notable organisations such as General Mills, Blue Star, Deloitte, and Wipro Infotech.

In addition to his corporate achievements, Nathani is actively involved in community engagement through the Google Local Guides program.  

Nathani's academic credentials include a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from Mumbai University, complemented by a Certificate in the Foundations of User Experience (UX) Design from Google, which he obtained through Coursera.  

Notably, Cohizon recently rebranded, changing its corporate identity from Sajjan India Limited to Cohizon Life Sciences Ltd. in December last. The company specialises in the large-scale production of Active Ingredients for Agro, Electronic Chemicals, Specialty Chemicals, and Intermediates catering to various sectors, including Agro, Pharma, and Dyes & Pigments. Headquartered in Mumbai, Cohizon has been operational in the industry since 1983.
