LTTS introduces RefineryNext to enhance refinery sustainability and efficiency

IT services provider L&T Technology Services (LTTS) has introduced RefineryNext, a new solution aimed at transforming traditional refineries into more efficient and sustainable operations. The initiative focuses on addressing key industry challenges, including fluctuating demand, strict environmental regulations, and the need for improved efficiency. 

RefineryNext integrates advanced technologies to modernise refinery processes. It includes digital governance systems, cybersecurity measures, and artificial intelligence (AI)-driven tools for predictive maintenance and asset management. The solution also incorporates digital twins and carbon capture capabilities to enhance sustainability efforts, the company said. 

Key features of RefineryNext include energy optimisation, net-zero carbon compliance, and smart workforce systems that support remote operations and augmented training. Additionally, the solution leverages advanced IT and OT integration for better connectivity and operational resilience.
