NTT Data appoints LTIMindtree’s Sudhir Chaturvedi as global growth officer, North America CEO
Japanese IT services firm NTT Data announced the appointment of LTIMindtree’s former president Sudhir Chaturvedi as its global chief growth officer and North America CEO less than a month after the industry veteran had quit his previous role.
The position of Global Chief Growth Officer is a newly created role in which Chaturvedi will lead consistent growth strategies globally, with a special focus on global industries, strategic accounts, and joint go-to-market execution with key strategic partners.
As the North America CEO, he will be responsible for NTT Data’s growth and business in this strategic region. He succeeds Eric Clark who is leaving the company for a leadership role outside the company.
Chaturvedi will report to Abhijit Dubey, President and Global CEO of NTT DATA, Inc., and plans to be based in Plano, Texas.
Chaturvedi’s last day of work at LTIMindtree was on January 27. In his previous tenure, he was instrumental in signing several recent deals making headlines for LTIMindtree, including setting up a joint venture (JV) with Saudi Aramco's IT services arm Global Digital with an initial investment of $12.3 million.
Chaturvedi brings an impressive 28-year career across diverse industries driving global strategy and results. Most recently, he was President of Global Markets at LTIMindtree. Before LTIMindtree, Chaturvedi was the Chief Operating Officer at NIIT Technologies. His earlier career included a succession of leadership roles at Infosys, where he drove strong growth across various business units in Europe and North America during his 13 years with the company. Before Infosys, Chaturvedi held consulting roles at EY and A.F. Ferguson.

He holds a mechanical engineering degree and dual MBAs from the University of Poona and the University of Leeds, focusing on Finance and Information Systems. He is regarded as a thought leader in the tech sector, having presented at prominent venues such as the French Senate and UK Parliamentary Committees.
NTT Data is part of NTT Group, a $30-billion IT services and consulting firm, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100 companies. Its services include business and technology consulting, data and artificial intelligence, industry solutions, as well as the development, implementation and management of applications, infrastructure and connectivity, the release said.
On Wednesday, NTT Data announced its acquisition of Niveus Solutions, a cloud engineering company specialising in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, based in Udupi. However, the terms of the acquisition have not been disclosed. According to a company press release, Niveus adds over 1,000 GCP engineering professionals to NTT DATA’s cloud services team with expertise in GCP native modernisation, data analytics and AI, further bolstering NTT DATA’s capabilities for better serving its enterprise clients..
