Mitsubishi Electric India, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Japanese conglomerate Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, will acquire a stake in Gervigreind Data Science Pvt. Ltd., an Indian software startup operating as Itanta Analytics. The investment aims to enhance the development and sale of no-code data-analysis and report-generation applications, bolstering Mitsubishi Electric’s factory automation (FA) digital solutions business.

The collaboration will integrate Gervigreind Data Science’s cost- and time-efficient applications with Mitsubishi Electric’s FA equipment and FA solution software. A key focus will be the incorporation of these applications with GENESIS64, a supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) software developed by ICONICS, Inc., a US-based subsidiary of Mitsubishi Electric. By leveraging no-code engineering, the partnership seeks to accelerate the digital transformation of manufacturing sites worldwide.

By partnering with software firms, the company aims to drive automation and digitalisation across various manufacturing stages, including design, production, testing, operations, and maintenance.
