Enterprise artificial intelligence (AI) services provider Kore.ai has launched AI for Process, a no-code platform designed to revolutionise how enterprises automate and optimise knowledge-intensive operations.

This is Kore.ai’s second agentic AI platform, following the launch of its inaugural platform, AI for Work, in December 2024. The initial platform features pre-configured agents designed for human resources, recruitment, and information technology.

AI for Process enables organisations to rapidly develop, deploy, and manage custom AI agents or Agentic Apps at scale, allowing them to understand context, make complex decisions, and orchestrate sophisticated workflows, the company said in a statement.

The platform’s cloud-agnostic approach, flexible AI model integration, and customisable tools provide businesses with the capability to enhance efficiency while ensuring security and compliance, it added.

Research indicates that traditional process automation often struggles with decision-making and scalability. According to the company, AI for Process addresses these limitations, moving beyond rules-based automation to intelligent process orchestration. It introduces a proprietary Agentic RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), seamlessly integrating advanced retrieval with intelligent agent coordination to enhance accuracy and contextual understanding. By enabling AI to reason and adapt, the platform significantly reduces the need for human intervention while maintaining control over data security, compliance, and business outcomes.

Gartner predicts that by 2028 agentic AI will be embedded in 33% of enterprise software applications. AI for Process unlocks new levels of automation with cutting-edge capabilities, including an intelligent agent framework comprising multiple AI-powered agents. The Orchestrator Agent manages workflows, while Reasoning Agents handle complex decision-making. Task Agents automate processes, Knowledge Agents process enterprise data, and API Agents facilitate system integrations. Additionally, the platform’s sophisticated Agent Evaluation Framework assesses AI agents' performance, evaluates execution plans, and identifies potential risks, ensuring robust decision-making and compliance.

The platform offers a no-code development environment featuring a visual workflow designer, over 65 pre-built prompt templates, and drag-and-drop integration. Testing, validation, version control, and deployment tools simplify workflow creation and updates. AI for Process also functions as an enterprise integration hub, seamlessly connecting with commercial or open-source large language models (LLMs) and major cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, ensuring no vendor lock-in. Pre-built connectors and real-time data synchronisation ensure a consistent flow of information across systems.

A key feature of the platform is its Human-in-the-Loop capability, allowing human touchpoints to be incorporated into automated workflows for approvals, data inputs, and oversight. Security is also a priority, with built-in data anonymisation, protection against prompt injection attacks, custom content filters, audit trails, and centralised governance controls managing role-based access. AI guardrails ensure compliance in highly regulated industries.

Raj Koneru, CEO & Founder of Kore.ai, said, “Traditional enterprise process automation was constrained by rigid, rule-based systems that lacked autonomy. With the emergence of advanced AI models capable of evaluation and reasoning, we are entering a new era where intelligent AI agents can independently manage business processes, reducing reliance on human support. AI for Process enables enterprises to design scalable, reliable Agentic Apps that redefine efficiency while allowing humans to focus on more strategic, supervisory roles.”

AI for Process is already delivering significant efficiency gains, achieving 40-60% faster processing, 35-45% operational cost savings, and around a 60% reduction in human review dependency. Early implementations include customer support automation, loan application and KYC processing, support ticket analysis, automated knowledge creation, contract analysis, lead processing, and proposal generation.

Prasanna Arikala, CTO and Head of Products at Kore.ai, said that these agents will function autonomously, seamlessly discovering and interacting with each other. Realising this vision requires a robust AI agent platform integrating autonomous agents, advanced knowledge retrieval, and intelligent orchestration. With AI for Process, we are delivering these future-ready capabilities today.”
