Ericsson has appointed Enrique Garcia as the Head of Mission Critical Networks (MCN) and Enterprise for the Market Area Southeast Asia, Oceania, and India (MOAI). This new role, effective March 1, 2025, will focus on strengthening Ericsson’s position in mission-critical networks and expanding enterprise business opportunities in the region. Garcia will report to Andres Vicente, Head of MOAI, and will be based in Singapore. 

Garcia brings over 15 years of experience in the telecommunications and technology sectors. Before this appointment, he led Ericsson’s business with MasOrange in Spain, where he played a key role in launching Europe’s first open and programmable network integration and securing enterprise partnerships in sectors like railways and transport. Garcia has also held roles at Amazon Web Services and Vodafone. 

In his new position, Garcia will work to promote Ericsson’s mission-critical communications solutions, which are built on its 4G and 5G technology. These solutions serve government agencies, public safety organisations, utilities, and transportation industries by providing secure and reliable mobile broadband communication services.

Garcia holds degrees in Business Administration and Management from the London School of Economics, a Master of Science in Product-Service Systems for Satellite Manufacturing from Cranfield University, and a degree in Telecommunication Engineering from Universidad Miguel Hernández de Elche.
