HCLTech gets added to Salesforce’s AI agent initiative
IT services firm HCLTech has been chosen by Salesforce for its Agentforce Partner Network. As part of this network, HCLTech will leverage its Salesforce digital modernisation expertise to help clients, especially in the financial services sector, to deploy Artificial Intelligence (AI) agents.
This will help enterprises to accelerate the adoption of AI-drive agents and modernise their Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications. HCLTech will be able to assist enterprises in transitioning from simple chatbots to sophisticated AI solutions capable of handling complex, multi-channel interactions.
HCLTech and Salesforce are partnering to bring agentic AI to PenFed Credit Union, America's second-largest federal credit union for enhanced member engagement and operational efficiency.
"At HCLTech, we empower clients with AI-driven agents to enhance operations, improve customer service and drive innovation. Being chosen as a Salesforce Agentforce partner reflects our dedication to leveraging advanced technology and highlights our role in shaping the future of AI," said Sadagopan S, Executive Vice President, Global Head of SaaS & Commercial Applications.
Notably, Salesforce announced the launch of its Agentforce Partner Network in September 2024. This global ecosystem brings together top partners such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud, IBM, and Workday, to enhance the capabilities of its AI-driven Agentforce platform. It aims to give businesses access to a wide array of third-party agent actions and pre-built agent templates, automating complex tasks across various systems.
“Over the next year, our bold vision is to enable customers with a billion AI agents. The Agentforce Partner Network, the world’s first agent ecosystem, plays a crucial role in helping our customers realise this vision by providing a vast catalog of trusted and ready-to-deploy partner agents and agent actions,” Brian Millham, President and Chief Operating Officer at Salesforce said at the launch.
