Last year, Genpact has announced the appointment of Piyush Mehta as India country manager, effective immediately. This was an expansion of Mehta’s existing role as the chief human resource officer.

This was one of the several high-profile appointments made by Genpact in the same period. The company announced the appointment of Balkrishan 'BK' Kalra, after its president and CEO, NV 'Tiger' Tyagarajan retired in February 2024. Like Mehta, Kalra too has been a Genpact veteran, working there since 1999. He was earlier the global business leader for financial services and consumer and healthcare segments. The company also named Vidya Rao as its new chief technology and transformation officer and Vipin Gairola as the Global Operating Officer.
