New Relic appoints Simon Lee as SVP and MD for APJ
New Relic, the Intelligent Observability company, has announced the appointment of Simon Lee as Senior Vice President and Managing Director for the Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ) region. In his new role, Lee will oversee New Relic’s operations and growth strategy across the APJ markets.
Simon Lee brings over two decades of experience in the technology sector, having held leadership roles in global companies. Before joining New Relic, he was Vice President for Asia-Pacific and Japan at Gigamon. He has also held senior positions at Oracle, Fluke Networks, SAP, and Seagate Technology, driving business growth and operational excellence across diverse markets.
As part of his responsibilities, Lee will work closely with New Relic’s regional leadership team, including Vice President of South Pacific Sales Jason Leonidas and Vice President of Customer Adoption Rob Newell. Together, they aim to strengthen New Relic’s market presence and deliver value to customers across APJ, the company said.
New Relic has experienced significant growth in the APJ region in recent years. The company opened its first Indian office in Bengaluru in 2022 and expanded further with the launch of a larger Hyderabad facility.

Lee holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
