Mumbai-based IT services firm One Point One Solutions Limited (OPO) has announced a move to expand its global footprint by signing a term sheet to acquire a US-based healthcare company specialising in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) for $45 million, including earnouts.  

The combined entity plans to leverage advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to drive efficiency and innovation in service delivery. This acquisition is a key component of OPO’s plans to enhance its global delivery model and deliver value across sectors including healthcare, finance, and telecommunications.

Akshay Chhabra, Chairman and Managing Director of OPO, described the development as a pivotal moment in the company’s journey to redefine global outsourcing standards. He highlighted the target company’s expertise, supported by a team of professionals, as a crucial factor in driving OPO’s growth strategy.

The acquisition is expected to strengthen OPO’s presence in the $410 billion global BPM healthcare market. The company also plans to expand its operations with new nearshore delivery centres in Uruguay and the Dominican Republic, alongside existing offshore facilities in the Philippines.

In September 2024, One Point One Solutions Limited secured two significant international contracts. As disclosed in information shared with the exchanges, one of the contracts involves a prominent telehealth company based in Atlanta, USA.
