New Relic appoints Ved Antani as MD for Hyderabad Innovation Center
Monitoring and observability services provider New Relic, today, announced the appointment of Ved Antani as the senior vice president of engineering. Additionally, he has been named the managing director of the company’s Hyderabad Innovation Center.
In the new role, Antani will be responsible for scaling top engineering talent, enhancing workplace culture, and contributing to the growth of broader business functions in India. He has over 15 years of experience in driving scalable platforms and product development in e-commerce, gaming, and enterprise technologies.
Prior to New Relic, Antani served as the chief product and technology officer at BetterPlace and was the managing director of Twilio India. Further, he has held senior leadership roles at SendGrid, JioCinema, Myntra, and Electronic Arts.
“Ved’s unique blend of technical expertise, visionary leadership, and operational excellence make him an exceptional choice to help lead the Hyderabad Innovation Center and contribute to our growth in India,” said New Relic Chief Technology Officer Siva Padisetty. “His ability to scale high-performing teams and deliver innovative customer-first solutions aligns perfectly with our mission to empower engineers and drive success across our global business.”
To be sure, last month New Relic announced that it has expanded its Hyderabad innovation center with a new 500-seater facility. The new facility will support teams for product, design, engineering, and operations. It is also expected to support the growing need for the platform’s customer base.
“The expanded 500-plus seat Hyderabad Innovation Centre represents a 2.5x increase in capacity in just six months, with an overall headcount in India more than quadrupling since the beginning of 2024,” the company said at that time.
