Aurionpro Secures Deal from Delhi Metro
Technology services provider Aurionpro has secured a transit solutions deal with the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC). Under the agreement, the Mumbai-based firm will deliver Automated Fare Collection (AFC) technology and manufactured solutions, including automated gates, validators, and card readers for various operational sectors across DMRC’s Phase I, II, and III networks.
The AFC gates for this project will be fully manufactured in India at Aurionpro’s new facility in Ghaziabad, aligning with the government's "Make in India" initiative, the company said in a statement.
Federal Bank Launches Advanced Transaction Platform
Private sector lender Federal Bank has partnered with Nucleus Software to launch an advanced transaction platform called FedOne. This platform will enable Federal Bank to capitalise on emerging business opportunities while offering swift, reliable, and innovative financial solutions to its clients.
FedOne is built on Nucleus Software’s FinnAxia solution, which helps banks transform their corporate customers' treasury functions into dynamic and profitable operations.
Reliance to Build World-Class AI Infrastructure in Jamnagar
Speaking at the 25th anniversary of the Jamnagar Refinery in Gujarat, Reliance Industries scion and Chairman of Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd, Akash Ambani, revealed plans to establish world-class AI infrastructure in Jamnagar.
"The AI infrastructure we are beginning to build in Jamnagar will not only make the city a leader in AI technology but will also position it among the world’s top-ranked cities," he stated. He added that construction has already commenced in Jamnagar and is expected to be completed within 24 months.
In January last year, Reliance Jio announced the launch of its AI platform, Jio Brain, aimed at integrating machine learning (ML) capabilities into its telecom network.
Tata Elxsi-Qualcomm Partnership
Tata Elxsi has announced a collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies to advance the development of Software-Defined Vehicles (SDVs). This partnership aims to leverage Qualcomm's Snapdragon Digital Chassis solutions and Tata Elxsi's expertise for cloud-native application development.
The collaboration will focus on creating virtual electronic control unit (ECU) platforms using Qualcomm’s Snapdragon virtual system-on-chips (VSoCs). These platforms will serve automakers and Tier-1 suppliers across passenger, commercial, and off-highway vehicle segments. By reducing reliance on physical hardware, this initiative aims to streamline and accelerate the SDV development process, facilitating faster software development and validation.
