Intellect integrates Thales payShield HSM with eMACH.ai Cards to enhance security

Intellect Global Consumer Banking (iGCB), a division of Intellect Design Arena Limited — a midcap player in the IT software industry, has announced an upgrade to its flagship eMACH.ai Cards platform through the integration of Thales payShield Hardware Security Module (HSM). 

This move is expected to bring enhanced security and cryptographic capabilities to the platform, catering to the evolving needs of banks, non-banking financial companies (NBFCs), fintechs, and e-commerce platforms seeking advanced protection in the digital payments ecosystem, the company said in a statement.

The eMACH.ai Cards platform is built on a foundation of security features, including compliance with PCI Secure Software Standards and Triple DES cryptography. With the integration of Thales payShield HSM, the platform now provides a secure environment for key generation, storage, and management, ensuring compliance with stringent data protection regulations. It also delivers secure transaction processing, reinforcing the trust financial institutions place in the platform.

Thales payShield HSM brings hardware-based encryption to the platform, which is critical in safeguarding sensitive payment data and enabling high-performance digital environments. The integration also enhances the scalability of the eMACH.ai Cards platform, allowing it to address diverse requirements, from virtual card issuance and loyalty management systems to real-time fraud detection and seamless onboarding.
