HCLTech launches innovation lab for SAP Business AI in Germany

IT services firm HCLTech launched an innovation lab for SAP Business AI in Munich Germany today. This lab will help clients in a swift transition to SAP S/4HANA Cloud through managed cloud services — RISE with SAP — by utilising SAP Business AI technology. It will enable clients to explore industry applications and kickstart artificial intelligence (AI) programs.

The innovation lab is integrated with HCLTech’s global AI and Cloud Native Lab network, which leverages features of the HCLTech AI Force platform alongside SAP AI Core infrastructure to co-create customised generative AI-led solutions. HCLTech’s global network of AI & Cloud Native Labs are located in Germany, the UK, the US, Singapore, and India. The company’s AI Force, Enterprise AI Foundry, and AI Engineering capabilities are available at these AI labs globally

The core areas of focus for the lab will include accelerating the adoption of RISE with SAP; enhancing software development in SAP solutions; optimising cloud operations. 

Notably, in January, HCLTech collaborated with SAP to establish a generative AI Center of Excellence (GenAI CoE). The focus of the GenAI CoE is on developing industry-specific solutions that leverage generative AI and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) to enable clients to quickly adopt and expand their capabilities. 

Under the collaboration, the two firms already working towards enhancing employee productivity, streamlining operations, expediting application development, and optimising business processes.
