TCS signs 3-yr partnership with Landis+Gyr for energy efficiency solutions

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has partnered with Swiss energy management firm Landis+Gyr to develop advanced energy efficiency solutions. It will help clients to improve sustainability, operational efficiency, and reduce carbon emissions. 

The three-year collaboration will combine TCS' Clever Energy platform with Landis+Gyr’s metering and grid management technologies to create comprehensive energy management tools. These solutions will cater complex energy demands of commercial and industrial customers, optimise energy use, and meet sustainability goals.

The partnership is expected to support utilities in adapting to increasing regulatory pressures while enhancing their ability to integrate renewable energy, improve grid flexibility, and optimise existing infrastructure. Features such as real-time energy optimisation, demand response, and smart electric vehicle (EV) charging will enable clients to lower emissions and improve energy efficiency.

The collaboration leverages advanced technologies such as Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and machine learning to create a future-ready, sustainable ecosystem.

The initiative aligns with new Swiss regulations requiring companies to report on their climate impact and CO2 emissions. Beyond regulatory compliance, TCS Clever Energy has already helped organisations in over 10 countries reduce emissions by 250,000 metric tonnes through its features like real-time energy monitoring and AI-driven energy optimisation.
