Zendesk appoints Mitch Young as Senior VP for Asia Pacific

Zendesk, a company that specializes in customer relationship management (CRM) solutions, has announced the appointment of Mitch Young as its Senior Vice President for the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.  

In his new role Young will oversee the company’s operations and growth across key markets, including Australia, India, Japan, and Singapore. The region also hosts Zendesk’s engineering hubs in Melbourne and Singapore, which contribute to the company’s global product development efforts. 

Young brings extensive experience to the role. He previously served as General Manager for ASEAN at IBM, where he worked with clients and governments on cloud-based, industry-focused solutions. Before joining Zendesk, Young spent nearly six years as President for Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) at ServiceNow. He has worked across mature and emerging markets, with professional stints in Singapore and Shanghai, and is now based in Melbourne.

Young holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical and Manufacturing from the University of Melbourne, Australia.
