Infosys partners with Swiss firm Kardex to transform business operations
India’s second-largest IT services firm Infosys on Wednesday announced a collaboration with Switzerland-based intralogistics solutions firm Kardex to transform its business operations using SAP S/4HANA. The Bengaluru-headquartered company will leverage its cloud solution Cobalt to integrate Kardex's enterprise resource planning (ERP) system in over 30 countries.
Leveraging cloud solution Infosys Cobalt, Kardex's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system in over 30 countries, operational efficiency, and scalability will be unified. Infosys will help Kardex harmonise and standardise its business processes to drive productivity, flexibility, and improved decision-making," the company said in a release.
Kardex selected Infosys for its extensive experience in executing large-scale digital transformation projects with SAP S/4HANA and its deep expertise in the manufacturing and logistics sectors. To ensure seamless data transfer, minimise downtime, and maintain data integrity, Infosys is leveraging its tools, including Infosys Data Services Suite (iDSS), a data management solution. Infosys aims to create a unified system for Kardex, to equip it with real-time insights, enhanced customer experience, and a strong foundation for growth.

He added that Infosys' expertise in process transformation, supported by SAP solutions, and a proven track record of successful implementations makes it the ideal partner to achieve Kardex's strategic objectives.
Jasmeet Singh, Executive Vice President and Global Head of Manufacturing at, Infosys, said the manufacturing and logistics industry is undergoing rapid digital transformation. "We are confident that our data-centric, cloud-first approach will ensure a seamless transition and unlock the full potential of digital transformation," he said.
Infosys has a strong foothold in Europe as it reported $4.894 billion in revenue in the second quarter, a 3.8% sequential increase and a 3.7% growth from a year ago. Much of this growth came from Europe, which contributed $117 million, or 65%, of the company's $180 million incremental revenue.
This collaboration follows other recent initiatives by Infosys. On September 19, Infosys extended its partnership with Finland’s Posti to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency using Infosys Topaz and cloud-enabled Infosys Cobalt. On September 17, Infosys announced a long-term collaboration with the UK’s Metro Bank to digitise its operations, improve automation, and integrate AI-driven capabilities. In October, collaborated with Zooplus, a European e-commerce company based in Germany, to enhance service capabilities and scalability. The partnership will establish an advanced Global Capability Center (GCC) in Hyderabad, India.
