CyberProof acquires Interpres Security to enhance cybersecurity services
CyberProof, a subsidiary of UST Global, has acquired Interpres Security, a company recognized by Gartner for its capabilities in Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM) and Automated Security Control Assessments (ASCA). The acquisition aims to improve CyberProof’s managed security services by integrating Interpres’ expertise.
The acquisition will enable CyberProof to provide clients with a comprehensive view of their cybersecurity posture, focusing on high-risk threats specific to industries, technologies, and locations. This integration supports organizations in identifying defensive gaps and prioritizing risks through actionable recommendations, the company said.
Interpres Security, based in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, has been noted for its work in cybersecurity and its recent recognition by Gartner in the ASCA category. Its platform identifies active threat campaigns, assesses exposure, and offers decision-making support tailored to risk prioritization. These capabilities will now enhance CyberProof’s offerings.
“Interpres has been our partner since late 2023 and is already showing extreme value with customers, helping us deliver better service outcomes. The acquisition of Interpres Security marks a significant milestone in our continuous innovation journey,” said Tony Velleca, Chief Executive Officer, CyberProof.
Nick Lantuh, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Interpres Security, expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition: “Together, we will empower complex organizations to continuously prioritize targeted threats, optimize their existing defensive capabilities, and proactively reduce their exposure.”
