TransUnion expands Pune GCC to enhance global capabilities
American multinational group TransUnion has announced the expansion of its Global Capability Center (GCC) in Pune, India. The facility now covers 59,307 square feet across two floors and is intended to support the company’s global market strategy by enhancing its technological and operational capabilities.
The Pune center is part of TransUnion’s GCC network, which includes locations in Costa Rica, India, and South Africa. In India, the company operates GCCs in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Pune. These centers are designed to improve operational resilience, scale services, and broaden service offerings.
The Pune center is designed to support various functions, including product and platform solutions, data science and analytics, system architecture, intelligent automation, business process management, and shared services.
Debasis Panda, Senior Vice President, Global Operations and Head of GCCs at TransUnion, said, “It allows us to create even more career opportunities for local talent across a full stack of competencies, while empowering GCC India to offer global support for product and platform solutions, data science and analytics, system architecture, intelligent automation, business process management, and shared services.”
“This ensures a steady pipeline of highly skilled technology professionals and leaders, making it an ideal location for us to advance our capabilities and deliver exceptional services to our consumers, clients and colleagues. The expanded environment and rapidly growing capabilities mark a significant chapter in our growth journey for the global business and for our GCC operations in India,” added Eric Hess, Executive Vice President, Global Operations at TransUnion.
In June this year, TransUnion officially opened the Pune GCC. The center is expected to play a central role in supporting TransUnion’s global business operations, leveraging a wide range of technological and operational capabilities.
