Securonix appoints former Kaspersky exec as head of India sales
Cybersecurity firm Securonix has announced the appointment of Dipesh Kaura as its new Head of Sales for India. With over 23 years of experience in cybersecurity and strategic sales, Kaura will drive Securonix’s growth in the region.
In his new role, Kaura will focus on expanding Securonix’s footprint in India, building strategic alliances, and delivering innovative security solutions tailored to the region's evolving needs.
Before joining Securonix, he was a key leader at Cyble Inc., where he spearheaded CXO-level engagements and developed growth strategies across South Asia. His career also includes significant tenures at Kaspersky and PwC, where he worked in account planning, channel development, and relationship management. He holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology.
“As cyber threats grow increasingly complex, my priority will be to help organisations in India implement effective, business-aligned security strategies. I look forward to collaborating with the talented team at Securonix to empower our customers and enhance our presence in the region,” said Kaura.
“His exceptional expertise in sales, strategic partnerships, and navigating the evolving cybersecurity landscape will be critical in accelerating our growth in India. Kaura's customer-focused approach and leadership will further strengthen Securonix’s position as a trusted cybersecurity leader in the region,” said Ajay Biyani, Vice President for APJ, India, Middle East, and Africa at Securonix.
In July, Securonix appointed Kash Shaikh as the President and Chief Executive Officer. Shaikh will also be joining as a member of its Board of Directors. His appointment came at the heels of other high-profile executive shuffles in the company. It includes Venkat Kotla’s appointment as the chief technology officer. Kotla leads the company’s engineering function and develops partnerships with other technology organisations to support the demand for the company’s security information and event management (SIEM) solutions. Further, the Texas-based company also hired Mark Stevens as the vice president of strategic alliances to help the growth of the company through partnerships and alliances.
