Indian IT services company L&T Technology Services Limited (LTTS) on Monday partnered with the Colorado Smart Cities Alliance (CSCA) to develop smart city projects in the state of Colorado. 

The collaboration is expected to leverage LTTS's advanced engineering capabilities to advance CSCA's efforts in enhancing urban living conditions, adopting best practices for sustainable ecosystems, and more. By working together, both organizations aim to foster the development of sustainable, efficient, and technologically sophisticated communities.

LTTS has earlier secured numerous smart government projects, drawing on its extensive experience in the United States, India, and the Middle East. The company's wide-ranging IoT solutions improve city operations through security measures, comprehensive surveillance, and border security systems, thereby optimizing resource utilization and enhancing inter-departmental cooperation to boost operational efficiency.

Earlier in November, LTTS signed an agreement to acquire Silicon Valley-based Intelliswift. The deal valued at $110 million, is expected to be completed by the start of Q4FY25. This acquisition will help LTTS enhance its offerings across software product development, platform engineering, digital integration, data, and AI.

In Q2FY25, LTTS reported a revenue of ₹2,572.9 crore, reporting growth of 4.5% QoQ and 8% on a yearly basis. The net profit also grew by 1.3% YoY to ₹319.6 crore. The company attributed this growth to large digital transformation deals and a strong focus on mobility, hi-tech, and sustainability.
