Nutanix and AWS expand partnership to simplify cloud migration

Nutanix, known for hybrid multicloud computing solutions, has expanded its partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to simplify cloud migration for businesses operating in both on-premises and cloud environments. It aims to support customers seeking flexible infrastructure options by integrating Nutanix Cloud Clusters (NC2) on AWS. 

The partnership allows Nutanix customers to extend their on-premises Nutanix setups to AWS, enabling them to run applications across both environments without disruption. Through this integration, customers can access AWS services, including Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3), AWS databases, and machine learning tools. The collaboration also offers AWS's security and scalability features within Nutanix's infrastructure.

NC2 on AWS offers features that include disaster recovery, data center extension, and application migration with no code changes required, aiming to reduce costs and simplify IT management. The Nutanix Move migration tool supports fast, predictable workload transfers, minimizing risks and avoiding extensive application refactoring.
