Infosys Finacle introduces AI suite to support banks’ digital transformation

Infosys Finacle, a subsidiary of Infosys, has launched the Finacle Data and AI Suite, aimed at helping banks integrate artificial intelligence into their digital systems and enhance their use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) across operations. 

The new suite includes a range of platforms designed to enable banks to create predictive and generative AI solutions with transparency and ease. The tools aim to support data readiness, streamline AI model development, apply generative AI, and deliver actionable insights across banking ecosystems, the company said. 

As part of Infosys Topaz, an AI-first initiative, the suite focuses on principles of responsible AI, including ethics, trust, privacy, security, and compliance. The Finacle Data and AI Suite includes three main components. The first, Finacle Data Platform, provides an automated data pipeline to organise, transform, and supply data for AI and other organizational needs. It also includes a modular data lakehouse with standard industry data models to ensure rapid and accessible data sharing. 

The second component, Finacle AI Platform, offers banks a unified interface for building, training, deploying, and monitoring AI models, catering to both technical and non-technical users. The platform provides a range of pre-trained models, a no-code generative AI toolset, and options for refining AI solutions. To support responsible AI practices, it includes tools to detect biases and generate synthetic data to secure privacy. 

The third component, Finacle Generative AI Offerings, consists of AI assistants that are useful in both customer-facing and internal applications. These include a knowledge assistant for document-based information extraction and a support assistant for ticket resolution. Generative AI technology underpins the suite, allowing users to select and build suitable AI models for their needs.
