Netpoleon India ropes in a new CTO
Netpoleon India announced the appointment of Gaurav Ranade as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Netpoleon India, a subsidiary of the Japanese conglomerate Macnica Inc.
With nearly three decades of experience in the IT and Cybersecurity industries, Ranade will drive the growth and expansion of the government, banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI) and Telecom verticals for the company.
The Singapore-based Value-added Distributor (VAD) of Network Security products, Netpoleon Group its Indian operations in 2015 under the name of TechKnowLogic Consultants India with regional headquarters in Bengaluru and branch offices in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Hyderabad.
As CTO, Ranade will be responsible for building and strengthening Netpoleon India’s services portfolio, especially focusing on the needs of the government and BFSI sectors. His role will also include spearheading the implementation of cybersecurity strategies, designing secure architectures, and aligning the company’s offerings with the unique demands of these critical verticals.
Ranade has earlier worked with RAH Infotech, Genie Networks and Sterlite Technologies, led and been part of complex, high-impact projects such as the Delhi Safe City, T-Fiber, BSNL 4G, PowerTel, Indian Navy and many more. He has been pivotal in delivering large-scale digital transformation and cybersecurity initiatives across national and international landscapes.
As a trusted industry advisor, his deep technical knowledge, particularly in areas such as Security Operations Centers (SOCs)/NOCs, Data Centers, and e-governance, will be invaluable to Netpoleon India’s future ventures.

In June, Netpoleon India appointed Shubha Mangala Sunil as its new Cybersecurity Strategic Advisor. With extensive experience, she has served as Ambassador at Large for Asia and the Gulf with STC, USA. Mangala has trained over 5,000 professionals, handled more than 1,000 cybersecurity cases, completed over 500 global projects, and developed over 80 cybersecurity courses.
