JSW MG Motor launches AI chatbots to enhance CX
Automobile manufacturer JSW MG Motor India, in collaboration with Google Cloud India, has launched two advanced artificial intelligence (AI) chatbots, Avira and Vir, to enhance customer engagement and satisfaction. Developed with Google Cloud’s AI capabilities and Riafy, an AI applications developer, these digital assistants represent the first use of this technology by a car company in India. The chatbots, powered by Google Cloud’s PaLM 2 large language model (LLM), will be available on multiple platforms, including the MG website, WhatsApp, and the EVPEDIA website.
JSW MG Motor India has introduced Avira and Vir to harness AI for improving customer experiences and operational efficiency. These chatbots are designed to personalise interactions based on customer history and preferences, offering real-time support and fostering trust and satisfaction. With multilingual capabilities, Avira and Vir will engage in natural, adaptive conversations, continuously learning from interactions to provide more intuitive responses over time.
Avira is designed to provide a highly interactive and personalised car-buying journey. Accessible via text and voice on the JSW MG Motor India website and WhatsApp, Avira handles inquiries about MG vehicles, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for potential buyers through advanced generative AI.
Vir is dedicated to educating customers about electric vehicles. Available on the EVPEDIA website and WhatsApp, Vir acts as a knowledgeable guide, offering comprehensive insights on electric cars, helping consumers make informed decisions about the EV landscape.
