Tata Communications will leverage Palo Alto’s cloud platform Prisma Access to offer a unified security solution that integrates network security, cloud security, Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) 2.0 capabilities and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE).  Tata Communications will also provide dedicated managed services, including the lifecycle management of Palo Alto Networks solutions allowing customers to focus on their core business. Tata Communications will also perform assessment of existing security infrastructure and recommend a roadmap based on real-time analytics and insights.

These solutions and services are expected to deliver rapid detection, with shorter response time and simpler security management. The companies also said that by consolidating multiple security vendors and services in a single provider will result in cost savings and operational efficiencies for customers.

"Our partnership with Palo Alto Networks goes beyond traditional cybersecurity,  enhancing our intuitive security fabric that evolves with the dynamic nature of modern enterprises. With Palo Alto Networks solutions such as Prisma Cloud, Cortex powered by Precision AI™, we’re setting a new standard in proactive threat management — giving businesses the confidence to grow and innovate without fear of cyber threats," Vaibhav Dutta, the Global head of Cybersecurity Solutions and Services at Tata Communications told TechCircle.

Notably, Tata Communications partnered with Versa Networks in June to launch its Unified/Single-Vendor Hosted Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) for global enterprises. This service aims to help businesses leverage cloud-based environments with improved performance, zero-trust security, ease of use, and cost-effectiveness.
