PwC India and Meta team up to scale GenAI solutions with Llama models
IT services and consulting company PwC India on Thursday said that it has collaborated with Meta, to expand and scale its open-source artificial intelligence (AI) solutions to enterprises and citizen services on the latter’s Llama models.
This collaboration will promote the adoption of the Llama open-source platform across industries and help PwC develop innovative solutions powered by Generative AI (GenAI) on a global scale.
That said, this collaboration will help PwC India and Meta to democratise GenAI and make it more accessible to businesses by jointly building and deploying enterprise-grade and citizen-service GenAI solutions. It also aims to create an ecosystem of GenAI solutions that will be built on Meta’s technical expertise and powerful Llama open-source platform along with PwC India’s domain expertise, PwC said in a statement.
Sandhya Devanathan, Vice President and Head, Meta India believes that GenAI solutions, including Llama, are poised to revolutionise India’s businesses and accelerate the country’s digital transformation journey.
“By harnessing the power of natural language understanding and generation, Llama can unlock new efficiencies, enhance customer experiences, and drive data-driven decision-making. This collaboration also builds on the work done by PwC India for the GenAI Lab, which is dedicated to bringing new ideas and solutions leveraging GenAI to both PwC employees and clients, he said.

This combination of consulting advisory and technological expertise will enhance the firms’ market relevance for enterprises and institutions seeking powerful, secure and ready-to-deploy Generative AI solutions at their endpoints.
PwC has consistently invested in emerging AI technologies to stay ahead in the competitive market. Previously, PwC formed alliances with major AI technology vendors, including foundation model providers AWS, Anthropic, Google, Shorthills AI, Microsoft, and OpenAI.
In August, PwC India inaugurated its GenAI Experience Lab in Gurugram, in a bid to explore Generative AI’s transformative capabilities. The company also teamed up with Microsoft India to bolster its incident response and recovery capabilities.to tackle cyber threats within organisations.
