BPE appoints Girish Chandra as director of data center infrastructure solutions and enterprise

Noida-headquartered power solutions provider for IT, Industrial and critical equipment, telecom, and Data Centers, Best Power Equipments Pvt. Ltd. (BPE) has appointed Girish Chandra as Director of Data Center Infrastructure Solutions and Enterprise. Chandra, who brings over 25 years of experience in the data center and power management industry across India and the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, will be responsible to drive the company’s expansion and global growth. His expertise spans data center solutioning, power management, business development, and turnkey MEP project management.

Chandra has previously held senior roles at prominent companies such as CBRE South Asia Pvt Ltd, Kyndryl Solutions Pvt Ltd (formerly IBM), IBM India Pvt Ltd, Wipro Ltd in Singapore, APC by Schneider Electric, Emerson Network Power (I) Pvt Ltd, and DB Power Electronics.  

In his new role, Chandra will be responsible for overseeing BPE’s data center infrastructure and enterprise solutions portfolio. He will also lead the company’s efforts to extend its presence across APAC, ASEAN, Africa, and other global regions. BPE has a strong presence in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and emerging markets, and Chandra’s leadership will be crucial to strengthening the company’s global strategy and enhancing its competitive position.

Chandra holds several certifications, including Accredited Tier Designer (ATD) from the Uptime Institute USA, Certified Data Center Specialist (CDCS), Certified Data Center Professional (CDCP) from EPI Singapore, ITIL Foundation V3, and PRINCE2 Project Management Certification. He specialises in sectors such as government agencies, financial services, healthcare, colocation and hyperscale data centers, automotive, and industrial sectors.

He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Symbiosis Pune and a three-year Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering, equivalent to a bachelor's degree, from the Board of Technical Education, Uttar Pradesh.
