Genpact, Donegal Insurance Group partner to streamline underwriting efficiency with guidewire solutions

Global professional services and business solutions provider Genpact has partnered with Donegal Insurance Group, a US-based property and casualty insurance company that provides a range of insurance products, to enhance the efficiency of Donegal’s commercial lines underwriting. This collaboration, leveraging the Guidewire Software platform, aims to modernise underwriting operations, reduce costs, and improve the experience for both users and customers in the property and casualty (P&C) insurance sector.

The partnership is expected to deliver significant gains in operational efficiency, including a notable rise in straight-through processing rates and improved underwriting capacity. Genpact’s expertise is helping Donegal reduce manual processes, streamline workflows, and maximise the value of the Guidewire suite.

Previously, Donegal faced challenges with manual workflows that limited productivity and hindered their use of the Guidewire software. The collaboration with Genpact has allowed Donegal to overhaul its underwriting operations, reducing error rates and boosting overall efficiency.
