Data Dynamics inaugurates tech CoE in India, unveils new AI tool
Enterprise data management company Data Dynamics has inaugurated it's new Center of Excellence (CoE) in Pune, positioning it as the central hub for its operations in India. This move aims to drive data-driven innovations and advancements in modern data management. The company plans to expand its team with programmers, artificial intelligence (AI) architects, and data engineers to further develop Zubin, its cutting-edge data management platform, and related product lines.
Jennifer Glenn, Research Director at IDC, highlighted the importance of effective data governance in modern enterprises. “Organisations that integrate centralised data governance with decentralised action are better able to extract value from their data by ensuring it remains available to the right users and devices whenever it is needed,” Glenn stated.
Zubin’s platform is built on six key capabilities that make it indispensable for today’s data management needs: Data Privacy in AI, Risk and Access Management, Data Sovereignty, Data Owner Empowerment, Role-Based Views of Data, and Data Management in a Hybrid Cloud environment. These features collectively transform the way organisations handle their data, ensuring security, compliance, and optimisation for the diverse demands of the digital age.
Data Dynamics currently serves over 300 organisations, including 25% of the Fortune 20.
In August, Data Dynamics and the Consulate General of the United States in Mumbai convened a roundtable on 'The Future of Data Privacy and Security in the Era of AI'.
The roundtable explored the intricate dynamics of India's evolving data landscape, emphasising its significant potential for driving economic growth. According to an Ericsson Mobility Report, India is poised to become the world's largest consumer of mobile data by 2028, surpassing even developed countries. With average monthly data usage expected to reach 62 GB per user, India's demand for data will exceed that of the US, Western Europe, South Korea, and China. This growth is driven by extremely low data costs, the swift rollout of 5G, and the increasing affordability of smartphones.
