IT services firm Infosys has collaborated with Clearstream, the post-trade services arm of Deutsche Börse, to enhance its digital services. This partnership facilitated the successful launch of Generation 2 of Clearstream’s D7 platform, an enhanced digital post-trade platform that enables market participants to issue securities digitally.

Infosys played a pivotal role in the project by driving the end-to-end implementation, customisation, and deployment of the D7 platform. The IT giant also provided critical go-live and post-launch support. The upgraded platform lays the groundwork for institutional-grade digital asset infrastructure, unlocking significant potential in asset tokenisation and digital securities.

Daniel Besse, Chief Technology Officer of Clearstream, said, "The successful release of D7 Generation 2 is a major achievement, setting a new standard for our clients and the industry. The enhanced platform simplifies and accelerates the digital issuance process, making it faster and more efficient. With over 150,000 digital issuances already enabled via D7, we are now leading the global digital issuance space."

Dennis Gada, Executive Vice President and Global Head of Banking & Financial Services at Infosys, said, "Our integration has enabled Clearstream to improve time-to-market, streamline operations, and manage regulatory changes more efficiently, all while supporting sustainable growth. This transformation sets a precedent for the future modernisation and digitisation of the securities and stock exchange industry."

The D7 platform marks a significant step in the evolution of financial markets, providing a foundation for further digitisation and the ability to swiftly adapt to market changes.

Additionally, Infosys has announced two strategic partnerships to expand its digital service offerings. On Tuesday, the company revealed a collaboration with Belgium-based Proximus Group, a digital services and communications company, aimed at exploring new business opportunities. The partnership seeks to combine Proximus’ international products, including Route Mobile's Communications Platform as a Service (CPaaS) and Telesign's Digital Identity (DI) solutions, with Infosys' digital services to enhance solutions for businesses and customers. Together, they will focus on a joint go-to-market strategy to drive growth.

Last month, Infosys expanded its partnership with US-based software firm ServiceNow to provide end-to-end managed services. This collaboration leverages the AI capabilities of ServiceNow's Now Platform and Infosys' Enterprise Service Management Café (ESM Café) to accelerate business transformation. With this partnership, Infosys aims to fast-track the implementation of ServiceNow for enterprises, including First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), reducing implementation time by 30-40%.
