Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has announced the availability of HPE Private Cloud AI, a new cloud-based service designed to simplify the deployment of artificial intelligence (AI) applications. Developed in collaboration with Nvidia, this service aims to help businesses of all sizes build and deploy generative AI (GenAI) applications with ease.

HPE has introduced solution accelerators within HPE Private Cloud AI, allowing enterprises to deploy virtual assistants with a single click, drastically reducing the time needed to operationalise these AI tools.

Fidelma Russo, executive vice president and general manager, hybrid cloud and CTO at HPE said, “Implementing AI applications requires organisations to string together various models, datasets, tools and other resources. Solution accelerators are a key differentiator within HPE Private Cloud AI, simplifying a project that could take months to deploy and consolidating that timeline down to a single moment for the enterprise.”

The first available solution accelerator is a GenAI virtual assistant that helps developers create interactive chatbots. These chatbots can answer questions using natural language and are powered by large language models (LLMs) informed by an organisation’s private data. The virtual assistant can be customised for various purposes, such as tech support, sales, or marketing. Future updates will enhance its capabilities to include voice, image support, and multi-agent functionality for more advanced tasks.

HPE plans to release additional solution accelerators tailored to specific industries, including finance, healthcare, retail, energy, and the public sector. Some of these accelerators will be based on Nvidia NIM Agent Blueprints, which provide reference AI use cases that businesses can refine using continuous feedback.

These accelerators are designed as modular, low-code or no-code applications using Nvidia NIM microservices. They aim to shorten the time needed to deploy AI applications by simplifying the integration of necessary IT resources. The solutions run on HPE Private Cloud AI and are managed through HPE GreenLake, ensuring secure deployment with enterprise-level safeguards.
