Meesho, an e-commerce marketplace, has announced the appointment of Mohit Rajani as its new Chief Product Officer (CPO). Rajani brings extensive experience from his previous roles at Meta, Google, and most recently at Carta, a technology company based in California. 

In his new role, Rajani will oversee the product management, design, and analytics teams. His responsibilities include driving product innovation and enhancing the overall customer experience on the platform. 

During his time at Meta, Rajani led the monetisation initiative for Messenger, turning it into a multi-billion-dollar business. He was also part of the core team at Instagram responsible for launching ads and business products, helping the platform grow to over one million advertisers. At Carta, he was involved in developing new products with a focus on Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Rajani holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
