Former Whirlpool exec rejoins Eaton as Global IT Director

Former Whirlpool Chief Information Officer (CIO) Asia Anand Hadgaonkar has rejoined his previous organisation Eaton, an appliances and electronics manufacturer, as Global IT Director.

He updated about the development in a LinkedIn post. “I’m excited to share that I’m back to Pune with my new role as Global IT Director at Eaton!”

About the reason for the shuffle, he said, “I am transitioning to a new job for a better role that aligns with my career goals and offers the opportunity to be closer to my extended family, which is very important to me.”

“And Going back to Eaton is also like getting back home too.”

Hadgaonkar was previously associated with Eaton for nearly 13 years between 2006 and 2018 holding various key positions.

His last organisation was Whirlpool where he spent over five years as CIO — Asia and VP & CIO — Asia Pacific. He has also been associated with Cummins, Satyam Infoway, Global Electronic Commerce, and Finolex Cables Ltd.

Hadgaonkar’s educational portfolio includes a Masters's Diploma in Foreign Trade from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Pune; and a Masters's In Management Studies (MMS) from Savitribai Phule Pune University. Apart from these, he has certification in Artificial Intelligence-Machine Learning from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur and Finance for Non-Finance Executives from IIT, Delhi.

He has expertise in building and retaining high-performance teams by hiring, developing and motivating skilled professionals as per his LinkedIn profile.
