Check Point acquires Cyberint to boost security operations and threat intelligence
Check Point Software Technologies, a cybersecurity platform provider, has announced an agreement to acquire Cyberint Technologies, a company specialising in external risk management solutions. This acquisition aims to significantly strengthen Check Point’s Security Operations Center (SOC) capabilities and expand its managed threat intelligence services.
Cyberint’s expertise will be integrated into the Check Point Infinity Platform, enhancing collaborative threat prevention. Additionally, these capabilities will be available as a managed service through the Check Point Infinity Platform Services.
Founded in 2010, Cyberint employs over 170 people globally and is recognised for its rapid growth in the external risk management sector. The company addresses critical security challenges such as stolen employee credentials, fake websites, and social media impersonation. Cyberint provides threat intelligence, digital risk protection, and attack surface management to a diverse range of clients, including Fortune 500 companies.

The integration of AI and managed services into Cyberint’s platform ensures effective risk detection and mitigation, with minimal false positives. Managed services further provide expert guidance, ensuring thorough and high-quality management of cybersecurity threats.
