Tech Mahindra, Google Cloud partner to drive GenAI adoption

IT services firm Tech Mahindra has announced a partnership with Google Cloud to accelerate the adoption of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) and spearhead digital transformation initiatives for Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M), one of India's foremost industrial conglomerates.

Under this collaboration, Tech Mahindra will leverage advanced AI and machine learning (ML) technologies to enhance various functions within M&M, including engineering, supply chain, pre-sales, and after-sales services. The partnership also includes leading the cloud transformation of M&M’s workspace and deploying the Mahindra Group's data platform on Google Cloud.

As part of this initiative, M&M and Tech Mahindra will utilise Google Cloud's AI capabilities to develop AI-powered applications that address critical business needs. These applications will help detect anomalies during the manufacturing process, ensuring zero breakdowns, optimising energy efficiency, enhancing vehicle safety, and improving overall customer satisfaction.

Tech Mahindra will also manage various enterprise workloads, including applications and simulators, as part of this strategic partnership. By combining the expertise of both organisations, the collaboration aims to deliver unparalleled value to M&M’s global customer base.

On August 6, Tech Mahindra announced a partnership with Horizon3.ai, an autonomous security solutions provider. Through this collaboration, Tech Mahindra will integrate Horizon3.ai's NodeZero platform into its cybersecurity services, enhancing its offerings with advanced threat detection, AI-powered penetration testing, and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) insights.

The NodeZero platform will be used to identify exploitable vulnerabilities and validate security defenses across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid network environments. This partnership equips customers with the necessary tools and expertise to protect their digital assets effectively.

On August 12, Wipro announced an expansion of its partnership with Google Cloud to accelerate the adoption of Google Cloud AI. As part of this collaboration, Wipro is developing new industry solutions and prototypes for internal applications using Gemini models, creating go-to-market programs, and integrating Gemini Code Assist.
