Former Tech Mahindra Exec launches low code-no code based SaaS Venture
Former Tech Mahindra India business head Jagdish Mitra formally launched his SaaS venture called Humanize on Wednesday. Humanize is a low code no code (LCNC) and generative artificial intelligence-based firm targeted at helping companies to reduce time-to-market for enterprises. Talent solution provider NLB Services is backing the venture where the investment would be utilised towards scaling technology and R&D, developing the AI platform, creating CoEs, and expanding the workforce.
“In recent years, SaaS platforms like Salesforce, ServiceNow, SAP, and Oracle have revolutionised how businesses operate by offering ready-made services. Recently, the rise of low-code and no-code platforms has further accelerated deployment and market responsiveness. As AI and Generative AI advance, these technologies promise even greater efficiency, automating tasks like data collection and analysis. We believe that Humanize’s AI-integrated SaaS stack will help enterprises with faster time-to-market by 15-20%,” Mitra told TechCircle.
Humanize will integrate CRM, BPM, Data, and ERP with AI. Humanize will offer a comprehensive service portfolio on an enterprise software-as-a-service (SaaS) stack addressing various business layers.
The company will be headquartered in the USA, with India head offices in Bengaluru and Delhi. Humanize will initially focus on India, the Middle East, the US, and the Global Capability Center and, in the long term, explore international markets like Southeast Asia, Germany, the Nordics, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Japan. Mitra said that Humanize will offer AI-led Industrial SaaS cases, especially across the BFSI, Retail & Consumer Goods, Manufacturing, Technology & Media, and Automotive sectors.
Mitra added that the company’s key focus would be to get the platform ready and on-board customers. “For our product or business model to succeed, we need to secure 10 to 15 customers within the first 12 to 18 months. These initial clients will be crucial, as they will form the foundation for broader sales and adoption. Revenue-wise, in the first five years we're aiming for approximately ₹500 to ₹800 crore over the next five years, with a team of 800 to 1,000 employees. Currently, we have about 15 leaders across AI, platform development, product management, and more. We plan to expand the team significantly as we progress, extensively hiring SaaS experts, full-stack engineers, data scientists, GenAI specialists, and Industry experts.” Humanize also aims to employ more than 100 interns in its initial years of operation.
In an earlier interview with Times of India, Mitra said that his new venture would be set up with an initial investment of ₹65-80 crore.
