IT services firm Wipro’s chief technology officer (CTO) Subha Tatavarti has resigned from her post. Her last working day would be August 16. Her tenure at the company lasted for less four years. Tatavarti will now pursue opportunities outside Wipro, the company’s official statement said.

The announcement of Tatavarti follows three executive appointments at the company last week as part of CEO Srini Pallia's ongoing restructuring efforts. Aathir Ahad, the general manager and head of managed security services, is now stepping up as the Chief Information Security Officer, emphasising the company's focus on data protection and information security. Nanda Kishore, who is currently the COO of Americas One, has been appointed as the chief of delivery and operational excellence, reporting to Pallia. He takes over from Ajit Mahale, who has decided to leave Wipro for new ventures. Additionally, Dilip Dialani, the vice president for Wipro’s fullstride cloud, will take over Kishore’s previous role as COO of Americas One in Q3.

Notably, earlier this year, CEO Thierry Delaporte handed over his resignation and was relieved from his duties in May 2024. The chief operating officer Amit Choudhary also stepped down from his post this year and was replaced by Sanjeev Jain. Additionally, Wipro's Asia Pacific, India, Middle East, and Africa (APMEA) president Anis Chenchah resigned quit in May. To be sure, the company has seen over ten senior level resignations in 2023 alone.
